Voices of AMIGOS

Definitivamente Sol y Lizma me sorprendieron.

First, we had breakfast with Uruguayans. They are pretty nice and I like how they want to learn Guarani.
After breakfast we had an activity about a “ value contract” that we did all together. We talked about rules, behaviors, leadership, etc.
Then, we went to Fort Miley! We got there by bus (Our first time in buses here). When we finally arrived we were fascinated because we were in front of the sea! It was cold but we didn’t care, we took lots of pictures and had our delicious lunch.
After eating we were ready for the Fort Miley Ropes course adventure. People from the staff showed us the area and we also played lots of games that required a lot of leadership and group work. That game was called “The Islands”
They gave us instructions for all games so we started (the games were kind of extreme). I’m afraid of heights so I didn’t try too many things. Definitely Sol and Lizma impressed me. They were very scared but they didn’t give up! I really liked how Dara transmitted good energy! And it was really funny to see Fabri Ojeda enjoying the experience and trying too many different games.
One of the funniest things was seeing German running up and down the mountains to take pictures. We love him.
I really liked this activity because everyone participated and enjoyed it. Seeing our mentors screaming like kids (specially Romi) made me realize how nice they are. They are like just another youth ambassador.
When we got to the hostel we found Jasmine Gregory, Chris Song and Lena Pollar there! (3 BAYAs) they prepared chocolate with marshmallows! It was delicious!
At night, we had an incredible talent show! It was really funny. The BAYAs showed us very popular dances from here and we danced all together. Then we sang happy birthday to Rachel 🙂
Exhausted but happy, we went to sleep.
