Becoming Lifelong Leaders in Our Communities
Our Theory of Change
AMIGOS applies principles of positive youth development theory, asset-based community development theory, and social and emotional learning to create transformational programs. One program experience = a lifetime of perspective.
Lifelong Career Impact
My AMIGOS experience began in 1974 when I was a high school student in Denver, Colorado. I ended up being a Project Supervisor and a Project Director. AMIGOS was so key in helping me figure out what I wanted to do. AMIGOS nurtured my passion and potential as an effective leader and manager and set the stage for my success.
Alumni report growth that endures
Long after a program ends, alumni carry their experience into their communities and careers. They report lasting change across every pillar of our model.
