Breakfast with your host family

Walk to the agency where you are interning

9 AM

Work with local agency staff

10 - 1 PM

Lunch with your host family

1 PM

Meet with the local youth group to brainstorm ideas for a community project

2- 5 PM

Dinner with your host family

6 PM

Program Requirements

  • Have two years of high school Spanish study or the equivalent
  • Be enrolled at a university or college
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to community service
  • Complete the application and pass the interview process
  • Adhere to the AMIGOS Standards of Personal Conduct and Community Behavior
  • Meet the General Health Criteria for participation
  • Receive the Required Immunizations
