Today was a fun day! In the morning I played American football with my host grandfather, host father, host sister, Ashley, her boyfriend Leandro, and my host niece, Zoe. I also bought shoes. Afterwards we ate lunch: chicken, rice, and beans. Then we baked cookies and washed the dishes. The cookies and the circular biscuits, called bizcochos, were really delicious! The Scouts came over to the house to watch the movie the Lorax. It was a good movie and I met two girls named Valeria and Cristal. We ate a lot of snacks. I also had the chance to hang out with my partner, Abi! I was really happy because I had missed her a lot. It was also comforting to speak English. Then we watched the movie Tangled and ate dinner: rice, beans, vegetables, and cheese. My host father also showed me his architecture plans and they were very beautiful. He also uses vectorworks. We also shared stories from our past. It also rained a little! I was ready to go to sleep afterwards.
¡Mi primer día completo en mi comunidad anfitriona! Hoy fue un día divertido! Por la mañana jugué fútbol americano con mi abuelo anfitrión, mi padre anfitrión, mi hermana anfitriona, Ashley, su novio Leandro y mi sobrina anfitriona, Zoe. También compré zapatos. Después almorzamos: pollo, arroz y frijoles. Luego horneamos galletas y lavamos los platos. ¡Las galletas y los bizcochos estaban realmente deliciosos! Los Scouts vinieron a la casa a ver la película Lorax. Era una buena película y conocí a dos chicas llamadas Valeria y Cristal. Comimos muchas meriendas. También tuve la oportunidad de pasar el rato con mi compañera, Abi! Estaba muy feliz porque la había extrañado.También me hizo sentir cómoda al hablar en inglés. Luego vimos la película Enredados y cenamos: arroz, frijoles, verduras y queso. Mi padre anfitrión también me mostró sus planos de arquitectura y eran muy hermosos. También usa vectorworks. También compartimos historias de nuestro pasado. ¡También llovió un poco! Ya estaba lista para ir a dormir después de eso.
