Buenas días from Panama!!
The Discover AMIGOS project is off to a great start. We’re enjoying our time here at Isla Cañas. Apologies for the small bit of radio silence – it seems our wifi here is not as strong as we expected! Tomorrow we will head off to a training site called CEDESAM (Centro de Desarrollo Sostenible Ambiental) by the Farallon beach near our headquarter city of Penonome, to get ready for our time in communities.
Our briefing has been going well – we even got to see a turtle nesting over the weekend! We are learning all about AMIGOS and what we’ll be doing here, and soon we’ll be ready to head out to community.
