The third week was another incredible week on route! I spent Monday in Pejibaye with Kirston, Frances, and Kathya. When I showed up they were all playing spicy uno with tico youth they had brought to campamentos. They spent their day cleaning the Salon Multiuso in preparation to start painting. Next came Las Delicias with Annita and Maria. They had already finished a good amount of their project and I got to watch them lead a great extracurricular activity. They even have a tico friend helping them lead extracurricular activities. On Wednesday I spent the day in Paraíso. Lucy and Rubi were helping to construct the communal showers. We finished the day by helping Lucy’s host mom cook a delicious dinner. I finished up the week in Las Mesas with Charlotte and Katiya. We had a day filled with lots of laughs. They are making great progress on their project. We can’t believe we are going into the last full week of community. So sad. But we are also ready to enjoy another great week!
¡El tercer semana era una semana increíble otra vez! Lunes yo estaba en Pejibaye con Kirston, Frances, y Kathya. Cuando llegué las voluntarias estaban jugando Uno con los jóvenes tico quien habían participado en campamentos. Ellas pasaron el día limpiando el salón multiuso en preparación para pintar. El próximo día estaba en Las Delicias con Annita y Maria. Ellas ya habían terminado un gran parte de su proyecto. También miraba las actividades extracurriculares super exitoso. Ellas tienen una amiga tico quien les esta ayudando a liderar las actividades. Miércoles pasé el día en Paraíso. Lucy y Rubi estaban ayudando a construir las duchas comunales. Terminamos el día ayudando la madre de Lucy a cocinar una cena rico. Terminé la semana en Las Mesas con Charlotte y Katiya. Nosotras siempre reímos mucho. Ellas han hecho progreso excelente en el proyecto. Nosotros no podemos creer que la próxima semana es nuestro ultima semana entero en comunidad. Que triste. ¡Pero estamos listos para disfrutar esta próxima semana!
