In his role as President and Vice Chairman at David Weekley Homes, Chris Weekley leverages his expertise in innovation and developer relationships to drive growth and expansion, while representing the Weekley brand on behalf of the company. He is also leading efforts to strengthen the company’s land position by partnering with developers and pursuing opportunities to self-develop land in key markets. Through these efforts, Chris helps ensure the company remains privately held, resilient in a shifting market and well-positioned to fulfill its Purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives.
He began his career with David Weekley Homes in 2007 as a Builder and Sales Consultant in Austin, then moved to Houston where he continued to grow into senior leadership roles, including Division President, Vice President of Central Living and Innovation, and Executive Vice President. Among his accomplishments, he spearheaded the launch of Central Living by David Weekley Homes, introducing low-maintenance homes in urban infill locations, and has played a key role in shaping strategies that support growth and innovation across the company.
Prior to joining Weekley Homes, Chris worked as a Project Manager for a developer in San Francisco, specializing in urban and suburban residential development. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development and received his Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from The Acton School of Business.
When he is not at work, Weekley can be found spending time with his five children. He currently serves on the board of The FORGE for Families and is the Board Chair of the Greater Houston Community Foundation. He and his family are members of Chapelwood Church.
