Our staff team is very excited to see how our volunteers’ leadership skills and Spanish are playing out in their communities!

Volunteers are in their communities, enjoying the beautiful region of Barahona, playing sports since day one, dancing bachata with their newly acquired dance skills, discovering the delicious local cuisine, and above all, having a wonderful time in their new homes.

During their first days in country we were amazed to see how strong their sense of teamwork and leadership are. It is definitely inspiring to see how much impact young people can make if they want to. Our supervisors are thrilled to collaborate with such great volunteers and such strong local youth leaders in their endeavors for every community.
