Arturo Ramon first joined AMIGOS as a college volunteer in Cusco, Peru in 2011, and later returned in leadership roles supporting volunteers, trainings, partnerships, and communications across different countries. His experiences with AMIGOS shaped much of his passion for youth leadership, cross-cultural connection, education, and the kind of work that brings people together.
Over the years, Arturo has worked in nonprofit communications and outreach across New Mexico and beyond, helping organizations tell stories, strengthen relationships, and connect more deeply with the communities they serve. His work has included bilingual communications, multimedia storytelling, public outreach, and collaborative projects focused on education, culture, and social impact.
Arturo cares deeply about community and about creating spaces where young people feel supported, inspired, and connected. Outside of work, he enjoys videography, photography, storytelling, yoga, and spending time in nature with loved ones.
