Dear World,
This weekend we left our community and were put into a school with 59 more gringos. But it was great! Currently, we are all sitting on a bench after taking a hike labeled “facil.” For you non-Spanish speakers, that is the easy hike. People were sliding, which was a bit dramatic, but other than that it was super pretty.
I’ve honestly loved this weekend. It was so fun to see how others like their communities. And it made me miss my host community! This was such a good break, but I’m ready to get back in. I want to learn how to make hojaldres, I just need to find someone to teach me! If my parents are reading this, I didn’t call but I love it here!
