Voces de los participantes

“I believe AMIGOS impacted me in a very positive way. I feel more confident in my Spanish skills, I feel empowered by all that I have done and experienced, and I feel better overall for having made new friends and tried new things.”

Voluntario
Montañas y Mar, Costa Rica

“This experience made me want to learn more Spanish and explore more countries and cultures.”

Veeran C., Volunteer
Montañas y Mar, Costa Rica

“The phone policy on my program was no phones at all, and at first I thought that would be annoying and I would want my phone. However, I found the further into the trip I got, the less I wanted my phone and the happier I was to not have it. I think that if I had my phone, it would’ve taken away from my experience as a volunteer.”
