Dorn Wenninger became a member of the Intercontinental Marathon Club in February when he finished his seventh marathon on 7 continents in 7 days. When running through the finish line in Miami, he was greeted by his wife and two daughters as well as a group of AMIGOS alumni who were there to support his efforts. Dorn leveraged this opportunity to raise awareness and funds for AMIGOS. At the end of the World Marathon Challenge, he raised $60,000 for the organization!

His journey with AMIGOS began in the 1980s when he spent the summer in Mexico. Since that first summer, Dorn returned 5 times as a participant and as a staff member, supporting AMIGOS projects throughout Latin America.
