Hello everyone, this is Pablo Dávila and I am from Quito, Ecuador.

I consider myself a community developer, someone who is passionate about working with people from different backgrounds and believes that finding that kind of experiences is the best way to learn and become a better world citizen. In my work experience, I have always been involved with non profit organizations, particularly with those that seek to achieve community development. I started as a volunteer working as a Language Assistant in the United Kingdom. When I came back from Europe, I started university in my hometown of Quito. I studied economics and finished school last year.

Later on, I got involved with Amigos de las Americas when I was a mentor for the Youth Ambassadors Program. As a mentor, I accompanied a group of young Ecuadorian leaders on their first exchange experience, once they got back, I supported them to design, coordinate, and manage their community initiative.

I have worked in different organizations where I have gained several skills related with non profit organizations management and coordination of community development projects. In addition, last summer I co-directed and oversaw all AMIGOS field operations in San Juan, Dominican Republic

I am currently living in Geneva, Switzerland, where I am doing and internship with the United Nations (Human Rights Division).

Talking a little bit more about me, I can say that one of the things that I enjoy the most is travelling. I really like to travel because this is a great opportunity to get to know different cultures and different ways of living. Well, now I hope you know a little bit more about me. I am really happy to be part of this team and I am looking forward to meet and work with each of you along this fabulous experience. See you soon.
