Educator Opportunities

We know that young people have the capacity to change the world. When given the opportunity, they rise to the challenge and create meaningful social change. We also know that it takes a community of deeply committed educators to support these young people. Below are the opportunities to engage with AMIGOS in Latin America this summer. We look forward to exploring your interests and finding the best fit.

Thank you for joining us as we work to inspire the next generation of global leaders.

Opportunity #1: Become a Discover AMIGOS Educator

Take your students on our 2-week introductory program called “Discover AMIGOS.” Support your students, learn alongside engaged youth, and deepen your engagement our approach to global learning.  Enroll six students and your spot is covered.

As an educator, you will:

  • Serve as a mentor to students on the experience by leading nightly reflections and meetings
  • Travel with participants
  • Uphold and enforce the Standards of Conduct
  • Facilitate educational and cultural activities
  • Conduct check-ins with participants during the program

Interested? Here's how it works:

Step 1: Sign Up

Tell us a little about yourself and your interests in the program. We’ll learn a little about you, and our staff will reach out to you promptly to set up a call. Spanish fluency a plus.

Step 2: Enroll Students

Work with the AMIGOS Recruitment team to find and enroll interested students.

Step 3: AMIGOS Manages the Details
