¡Playa, sol y amigos! ¡La sesión B de la Brunca empezó su aventura en Hacienda Barú! Uvita tiene playas muy hermosas, y para llegar a ellas debemos cruzar el bosque con ayuda de los senderos. En nuestro recorrido nos esperaban los osos perezosos, que junto a otros animales nos dieron la bienvenida.
A la hora de hacer voluntariado, no tuvimos otra opción que poner nuestras botas y guantes. Nos encargamos de enterrar cocos y limpiar la playa, junto nuestros amigos los cangrejos. Luego juegos y actividades de briefing nos esperaban al regresar.
¡El equipo la brunca también trabaja de noche!, tuvimos una excursión nocturna en donde nos conectamos con la naturaleza. Caminamos con nuestras linternas hasta lo profundo del bosque y encontramos ¡ranas de ojos rojos!
Por último, plantamos árboles de diferentes tipos en Hacienda Barú, estamos emocionados de regresar y ver cuánto crecieron. Vamos a extrañar el calor y la playa, ya que nuestro siguiente destino ¡son las montañas!
Beach, sun, and amigos! The La Brunca B Session started its adventure at Hacienda Barú! Uvita has beautiful beaches, and to reach them we must cross the forest, following the trails. On our walk, sloths were waiting for us, and along with other animals, they welcomed us with open arms.
When it was time to volunteer, we had no choice but to put on our boots and gloves. We were in charge of burying coconuts and cleaning the beach, together with our friends the crabs. Then games and briefing activities awaited us when we returned home.
The La Brunca team also works at night, we had a night excursion where we connected with nature. We walked with our flashlights deep into the forest and found red-eyed frogs!
Finally, we planted different types of trees at Hacienda Baru, we are excited to go back and see how much they grew. We are going to miss the heat and the beach, as our next destination is in the mountains!
