Coclé 2023: A Message from Miguel
¡Hola a todos! Les saluda Miguel, APD del proyecto Coclé. Estamos muy emocionados de poder recibirlos y estamos preparados para tener una experiencia increíble. El área del proyecto es muy divertida y llena de cosas por hacer. Hace mucho calor así que les aconsejo traer ropa para este clima. Penonomé y las comunidades donde están nuestras familias anfitrionas son mayoritariamente rurales y las personas que viven ahí son pequeños agricultores.
Algunos proyectos serán en las escuelas de las comunidades y los niños están muy emocionados por conocerlos. También tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer a sus familias y sus padres anfitriones están sumamente ansiosos de conocerlos. Podrán caminar por muchas colinas y conocer gente increíble. Además, estamos seguros de que perfeccionarán su español.
La región de Coclé es una región llena de caminos y vegetación, jamás se aburrirán por aquí. No olviden su protector solar y repelente de insectos, pues serán de gran ayuda. Pero lo más importante son sus ganas de conocer una nueva cultura, nuevas personas y sobre todo sus ganas de ser líderes juveniles!
Hello everyone! Greetings from Miguel, APD of the Coclé project. We are very excited to receive you and we are prepared to have an incredible experience. The project area is a lot of fun and full of things to do. It is very hot so I advise you to bring clothes for this weather. Penonomé and the communities where our host families are located are mostly rural and the people who live there are small farmers.
Some projects will be in the schools of the communities and the children are very excited to meet you. We also had the opportunity to meet their host families and their host parents are extremely eager to meet you. You will be able to walk many hills and meet amazing people. In addition, we are sure that you will improve your Spanish.
The Coclé region is a region full of roads and vegetation, you will never get bored here. Do not forget your sunscreen and insect repellent as they will be of great help. But the most important thing is your desire to know a new culture, new people and above all your desire to be youth leaders.
