Ashley Thorshov was planning to head to Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica with AMIGOS this summer to explore her interest in environmental sustainability and conservation. While she isn’t able to travel this year, she continues to plan for her future dedicated to environmental protection. In this article, she shares how she decided to change her career path to focus on the environment and why it is critical to take action.
Currently a junior in high school, Ashley says she is considering colleges that are environmental leaders and she is looking into AMIGOS programs where she can learn more about environmental volunteerism.
